Where Were You April 3, 1966?-- Part 3

These songs were playing on Chicago radio stations WCFL and WLS 45 years ago.

634-5789-- WILSON PICKETT-- We got Wilson's number. (The Wicked Pickett as they called him. One of the three greats along with Sam and Dave and Otis Redding.)
WOMAN-- PETER AND GORDON-- Written by Paul McCartney but not performed by the Beatles. Writer's mane Bernard Webb, a Paul McCartney psudonym. Written by Paul who wanted to see if he could get a hit record without his name on it. he could. (Or, was it Chad and Jeremy who sang it?)

I CAN'T LET GO-- HOLLIES-- (A lesser-known Holies hit.)

NOWHERE MAN-- BEATLES-- "A" Side
WHAT GOES ON-- BEATLES-- "B" side (Just another two-sided Beatles 45.)

DAYDREAM-- LOVIN' SPOONFUL-- from Greenwich Village. (Digging on John's granny glasses.)
