FILL YOUR STAPLERS DAY-- ** Observed Monday of second full week of March.
OATMEAL WAFFLES DAY-- Nice combination.
NATIONAL PROMPOSAL DAY-- ** Too scared to ask? Gettin' kind of late.
MARCH 12
GIRL SCOUT DAY-- ** One of the great organizations for anybody. Can some one sat SCALLOPS?
NATIONAL BAKED SCALLOPS DAY-- ** I love scallops.
ORGANIZE YOUR HOME OFFICE DAY-- **My work space here could be way less cluttered. But who has time?
NATIONAL PLANT A FLOWER DAY-- ** I love flowers. Definitely too early up here in Northern Illinois.

JSS: Girl Scout Cookies-- White-Out-- $3.14 Pies
JSS: Just Some Stuff
1. GIRL SCOUT COOKIES-- Looking high and low and all around, but can't find any Girl Scouts selling cookies. I need my cookie fix. Where are you?
2. WHITE-OUT-- Tuesday we had snow which several times reached white-out level. Unfortunately, I was driving in it. Thankfully, nothing stuck. Definitely ready for winter to be over now, but at least we don't live in the northeast.
3. $3.14 PIES-- The last three days our local Jewel grocery store had apple pies for just $3.14. That, of course, ended yesterday, March 14 for some reason.

JSIS: Lockhorns-- Girl Scouts-- Attendant Amuck
JSIS-- Just Some Interesting Stuff
1. LOCKHORNS-- Always love reading the Lockhorn comics. From the March 4th Chicago Tribune. Mr. Lockhorn looks at his wife and says, "I'll put the toilet seat back down when you return the driver's seat to its original position." I have about cut myself in half getting into the car after Liz drives it.
2. GIRL SCOUTS-- A bog happy birthday to one of the finest organizations anywhere, the Girl Scouts. My wife was a member for a while as well. I already bought my cookies, did you?
3. ATTENDANT AMUCK-- Revolting passengers. I sure don't know what was worse on that American flight Friday. Was it the attendant who went nuts or all those passengers filming it with hopes of making money off their film.
All you saw were the cell phones being held up. How sad. Shouldn't you try to be doing something useful?
