Just sitting here typin' away with my two little fingers and listnin' to Vintage Rock on Boomer Radio over the internet.
Great music from the 60s and 70s, my prime time. And they not only play the old familiars, but also ones I've never even heard before, but the feel is there.

THE BELLS OF RHYMNEY-- Byrds
POWER FAILURE-- Procul Harum
KASHMIR-- Led Zeppelin

Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

Boomer Radio: Vintage Rock
Typing away and listening to this great internet station. I especially like it because they not only play some of the great old songs I've heard a lot, but quite a few I'm either not very familiar with or have never heard. Here are the songs played since noon today. The ones with ** mean I wasn't overly familiar with it:
GO DOWN GAMBLIN'-- BS&T
M'LADY-- Sly & the Family Stone. My absolute favorite song at the Delta Sig dances back in college. Put this on and see one "Dancin' Fool!"
**HOT BURRITO NO. 1-- Flying Burrito Brothers
**HOMBURG-- Procul; Harum
HEARTBREAKER-- Led Zeppelin. I was kind of wondering if they'd play "Livin' Lovin' Maid" next. They didn't. Probably the first time the two songs haven't been played back-to-back. I was sure ready for it.
**TAM LIN-- Fairport Convention I thought it was the Jefferson Airplane.
**BABY'S CALLING ME HOME-- Steve Miller Band
**DON AND DEWEY-- It's a Beautiful Day
MELLOW YELLOW-- Donovan
**IRON BUTTERFLY THEME-- Iron Butterfly
PLASTIC FANTASTIC LOVER-- Jefferson Airplane
UP TO ME-- Jethro Tull
**SAD MORNING-- Buffalo Springfield And here I was thinking I'd heard all their songs.
BOX OF RAIN-- Grateful Dead
WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN-- Who For some reason I always thing TV when I hear this song nowadays.
MAY THIS BE LOVE-- Jimi Hendrix. I always thought this one was named "Waterfalls."
**PRETTY POLLY-- Judy Collins
LOVE ME TWO TIMES-- Doors
NO MORE MR. NICE GUY-- Alice Cooper
**WAKE ME, SHAKE ME-- Blues Project
SONG OF THE WIND-- Santana

Boomer Radio: Vintage Rock (Now That's Some Good Stuff)-- Part 1
Yesterday I listened to Boomer Radio's Vintage Rock streaming on the internet for quite awhile while blogging. I especially like this station because they don't just play the tried and true stuff that everyone hears all the time, but a lot of more obscure songs and some that I have never heard (even better). I always like to expand my musical horizons. //// They concentrate on 1964-1974 and I am glad they have a window with name of song and arttist, something I have to use a lot. //// Here are some of the lesser-known songs they played: LODI-- CCR // SIMPLE SIMON-- Procul Harum // DO I HAVE TO COME RIGHT OUT AND SAY IT-- Buffalo Springfield // TAKE IT AS IT COMES-- Doors // HARD TO CRY TODAY-- Blind Faith //// --Good Stuff, Maynard. --RoadDog

Boomer Radio: Vintage Rock-- Part 1
I just started listening to this online station yesterday and will be a doing a lot of that in the future. (www.boomerradio.com) I absolutely love the selection of songs, which include the usuals you hear on Classic Rock stations, but digs deep, very, very deep. I listened today from 6 to 8:15 and will list the songs. //// Fortunately, the site has the song title and group as there were a lot of them I had never heard, or had heard, but didn't know the name: //// THE MINOTAUR'S SONG-- Incredible String Band // ENDLESS HIGHWAY-- Band // BABA O'RILEY-- Who // WAKE ME, SHAKE ME-- Blues Project // THE FARM-- Jefferson Airplane // GOTTA GET UP-- Harry Nilsson // DON'T LOOK NOW (IT AIN'T YOU OR ME)-- Creedence Clearwater Revival // PRIDE OF MAN-- Quicksilver Messenger Service // BABY'S HOUSE-- Steve Miller Band. // NOTHING IS EASY-- Jethro Tull. //// More to Come. --RoadDog
