Music Deaths: Howard "Sparky" Childress of the Sparkletones

Guitar player with rockabilly band Sparkletones (also known as Joe Bennett & the Sparkletones.
Teenage band (they were ages 14-17) from Spartanburg, S.C. Had a #17 in 1957 with "Black Slacks." That kicked off with "BBBbRRrrr" and was 1:57 of try to keep up. Also had a #42 in 1957 with "Penny Loafers and Bobby Socks."
