Music Deaths: Eddie Cooley, R&B Singer (Co-Wrote "Fever")

Died 15 April 2020
Co-wrote the much recorded song "Fever" which became big hits for Little Willie John, Peggy Lee and the McCoys and had one Hot 100 pop song, "Priscilla" (#20-1956) credited to Eddie Cooley and the Dimples. The Dimples were a female trio.
Wrote songs for the King label and groups like the 5 Royales and Joe Tex.
Classic 1950s R&B. Mighty good stuff.
"Got a Little Woman" is good too. Of course,good version of "Fever."
