Then tomorrow, Bob Stroud on Chicago's WDRV, 97.1 FM, takes us back to the September 2, 1972, in the fourth and final segment of his Summer of '72 series. www.wdrv.com

Something else I've been getting a kick out of listening to is the Beach Music Top 40 Countdown for the year 1954 that Fessa John Hook has been playing this week on the Cashbox site http://cashboxmagazine.com. Ruth Brown, Joe Turner, Champion Jack Dupree, Sticks McGhee, Jimmy Liggins and Louis Jordan just to name a few in the chart.
