From the January 21, 2017, Rock and Roll Roots Show by Bob Stroud on WDRV 97.1 FM Chicago, The Drive.

Every January, Bob Stroud goes back over music deaths from the previous year and devotes a Rock and Roll Roots show to them.

Unfortunately, I was on the road back from North Carolina and missed it.  These are songs by artists and also people in the band or involved in making the song.  Since I didn't hear the show, there are several I am not sure about who died.
