Music Deaths: Motown Songwriter Robert Bateman
ROBERT BATEMAN, 80 Died October 12, 2016.
Motown songwriter. Sand with the Satintones, who were Motown's first group to release a single (just before the Miracles).
He discovered the Marvelettes and wrote "Plese Mr. Postman," "Playboy" and "Twistin' Mr. Postman."
