ROD TEMPLETON, 68. Died October 5, 2016.
Songwriter and keyboardist for Heatwave. Wrote their hits "Boogie Nights" and "Always and Forever." he also wrote Michael Jackson's hit "Thriller".
Other Jackson hits written by him were "Off the Wall" and "Rock With You."
