Last year, I saw 65 movies at the theater. And, you'd think that out of that many, I'd have seen more than one movie that received an Academy nomination for Best Picture. But "Hacksaw Ridge" was the only one.

La La Land

Manchester By the Sea
Moonlight
However, I have busy at work catching up and now have seen these since last week: "Arrival," "Hidden Figures," "La La Land" and "Manchester By the Sea."
Hopefully, the local theaters will be bringing some of them back. I like to see as many of the nominations as possible.
Sadly, many of these movies either weren't shown in our area or had very short runs.
