Music Deaths: Lowrell Simon of the Lost Generation
LOWRELL SIMON, 75
Died June 19, 2018
One of Chicago soul music's foremost singer-songwriters. Led the late-1960s-early 1970s Lost Generation.
With the group Vondells he had a regional hit in Chicagoland with "Lenora." With Lost Generation, he had a #30 song in 1970 with "The Sly, the Slick, And the Wicked."
