Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

WLS Top 30 for Week of November 8, 1971-- Part 2: 'Superstar'

*  Means the song was rising in the charts.  The number after the artist is how high the song got on the Billboard Hot 100 National Charts.

25.  *CHERISH--  David Cassidy    #9    No doubt that he had quite a voice on this one.   His biggest hit.  You might know him better as Keith Partridge on the "Partridge Family."

24.  SUPERSTAR--  Carpenters     #2    That Karen Carpenter had such a unique voice.  Just unique.  Born in 1950   Died in 1983.  So sad.  So soon.

23.  WHAT ARE YOU DOING SUNDAY--  Dawn       #39      A great trio.      The gals are Telma Hopkins and Joyce Vincent.  This song grows on you with more listening.  But, this sure isn't giving the bride much time to prepare.

22.  IF YOU REALLY LOVE ME--  Stevie Wonder     #8     Born in Saginaw, Michigan.

21.  *HAVE YOU SEEN HER--  Chi-Lites     #3      R&B vocal group from Chicago.    This one really takes me back to my college days.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "One Month Ago Today I Was Happy As A Lark."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
