From June 17-23 American Profile Magazine.
One of my favorite groups from days of yore, the Marshall Tucker Band, is still performing, in their 41st year. The Spartanburg, SC-based jazz, blues and Southern-fried-boogie boys just released a new greatest hits album which includes "Heard It in a Love Song," "Can't You See" and my all-time favorite, "Fire on the Mountain."
Doug Gray, a founding member and lead singer is now 64 and says their fan-base ranges from 18 to 65 years of age.
