Congratulations to Bill Withers, Lou reed, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joan Jett. The 5 Royales will also be enshrined as an early influence. Ringo Starr, already in as a member of the Beatles, will be honored for his musical excellence. But I believe he should also be in the Hall on his own. He certainly had some great tunes in the 1970s.
Fifteen singles and 12 albums are also now included on the Hall of Fame list which now numbers 987. They include "Big Girls Don't Cry" from the Four Seasons, "I Fought the Law" by the Bobby Fuller Four, "Rescue Me" by Fontella Bass, that great old Beach Music and dirty song "Sixty Minute Man" by Billy Ward & the Dominoes, "Tell It Like It Is" by Aaron Neville, "School's Out" by Alice Cooper (where we got our boat name) and "Dancing Queen" by ABBA.
