So, Who Were Reparata & the Delrons?-- Part 1

Back on the March 5, 1965, WLS Survey, there was a song called "Whenever a Teenager cries" by a group called Reparata & the Delrons at #18.  I'd never heard of the song and then there was that strange name for a group.  I first listened to it on You Tube.  As good of a Girl Group song from back then as you can get.

The comment on it said it was recorded in 1964 and charted to #60 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1965.  It was released Dec. 1964.  "This is one of the great girl group classics, and likely would have been a much bigger hit had it not come along after the British Invasion.  Reparata & the Delrons are my favorite girl groups."

Some other songs by them on You Tube:  "Bye Bye baby" and "I'm Nobody's Baby Now."

My comment: "grows on you.  All that teenage girl angst.  Please curb your estrogen, ladies.  Three white girls in a classic Girl Group song.
