WLS Top 40 for January 13, 1969-- Part 5: "Too Weak To Fight"
The number after the artist is how high the song got on the Billboard Hot 100.
20. LO MUCHO QUE TE QUIERO-- Rene / Rene #14 Very good song sung in both Spanish and English. Slow.
19. I STARTED A JOKE-- Bee Gees #6 Robin's funny hairdo but what a voice. A comment on the video said that Robin's voice gave the Bee gees their signature pre-disco sound. I agree.
18. GOODNIGHT MY LOVE-- Paul Anka #27 Sounds so much like a Frank Sinatra song.
17. TOO WEAK TO FIGHT-- Clarence Carter #13 Dr. CC. A Soul classic, but at just 2:17 way, way too short. Her hook is in too deep. What he could do with his voice!!!
16. I LOVE HOW YOU LOVE ME-- Bobby Vinton #9 So slow, so pretty. Good wedding song.
