THURSDAY, JULY 17TH: Went out boating and then to Antioch where we stopped off at the Sequoit Lodge before walking over to the annual Antioch Taste of Summer festival. Found a place selling Carolina-style pulled pork sliders. Not exactly my Carolina-style pork, but close enough. The band b.b.i. performed, one of the best soul bands around playing that great 60s-70s stuff, including their 23-songs in 33 minute-medley.
FRIDAY, JULY 18TH: Had a happy hour party at friends Glenn and Barb's on Fox Lake. Not as many boats out and about as you'd expect. Afterwards, we stopped at the American Legion on Nippersink Lake before going home.
