A Good Old Spooky Weekend-- Part 2: Halloween Everywhere

Continued from Nov. 2nd.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST--  We drove over to Windhill Pancake Parlor in McHenry for lunch and to enjoy the hundreds of Halloween items they put up.  They are everywhere, one of the most heavily decorated Halloween Spook Spots I've ever seen.  And, the food is superb, especially their loaded Reuben sandwiches.

Came home and had to do some last-minute repairs to the Halloween lights before the trick-or-treaters started coming.  We have the biggest Halloween decorations in the subdivision, even if I do say so.

The rain finally let up and we only had 29 trick-or-treaters by Liz's count.

We went to the Legion for the Halloween party and enjoyed the karaoke and costume contest.  Best two were the ghost couple from Beetlejuice and #1 Lurch and Wednesday from the Addams Family.
