Ashland University

Yesterday, I posted about the players the Bears drafted a few weeks ago.  I'd never heard of the schools three of them came from so did some research.

ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

The Chicago Bears' Second Round choice was Adam Shaheen from Ashland University.

Located in Ashland, Ohio.  Located in northern Ohio, near Lake Erie.   Founded in 1878.  5,700 students.  Ashland, Ohio, has a population of 20,361 and was established in 1815 as Uniontown, but changed its name to Ashland as another city in Ohio already had the name.

The teams are named the Eagles and are in Division II's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
