Music Deaths: Bill Burkette of the Vogues
BILL BURKETTE, 75
Died March 1, 2018
Original lead baritone with the Vogues on hits "You're the One" (#4-1965), "Tuen Around, look At me" (#7-1968) and "Five O'Clock World" (#4-1966).
Whenever I hear "Five O'Clock World" I can't help but think of the skit they did on the "Drew Carey Show."
