Music Deaths: Kenny O'Dell Wrote "Behind Closed Doors"
KENNY O'DELL, 73
Died March 27, 2018
Singer/songwriter. His only top 40 was "Beautiful People" (#38-- 1967). This was also a hit for Bobby Vee. A great bit of pop music if there ever was. Give a listen to it on You Tube.
He also wrote "Next Plane to London" (#17-1967) for Rose Garden and "Behind Closed Doors" (#15-1973) for Charlie Rich.
