WLS Top 40 for April 8, 1968-- Part 2: "She's Lookin' Good

35.  HEY GIRL, MY GIRL--  Booby Vee     #35    Born in Fargo, North Dakota.   Medley of the two songs.  More of "My Girl" than "Hey Girl."

34.  SOUL SERENADE--  Willie Mitchell--    #23  His biggest hit.  The pride of Ashland, Mississippi.    Too much soul in this instrumental.    Great song.  If I had a radio show, this would be my intro song.

33.  SHE'S LOOKIN' GOOD--  Wilson Pickett--    #15     From Prattville, Alabama.  Born 1941.  The "Wicked Pickett" sounding mighty wicked here.

32.  TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY BABY--  Bobby Vinton    #33  Born in Canonsburg, Pa.

31.  COWBOYS TO GIRLS--  Intruders   (D)    #6   Their biggest hit of 14 Top 100s.  Formed in Philadelphia in 1960.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "My Tears Are Falling, Cause You've Taken Her Away."  Answer Below.  --RoadDog

WORDS NOT YET IN THE DICTIONARY--  BURGACIDE  When a hamburger can't tsake any more torture and hurls itself through the grills onto the coals.
