Going Back to the Summer of '75-- Part 4: "Hey You"

Forty years ago.  Has it been that long?

FALLING IN AND OUT OF LOVE/AMY--  Pure Prairie League  Southern Rock band from Cincinnati of all places.  Their album was Bustin' Out. (Doesn't get any finer than this.  Still a Prairie Dog!!)  Song was a few years old and finally a hit.  Heard the preamble to the song as well.

WHEN WILL I BE LOVED--  Linda Ronstadt--  Covering a great old Everly Brothers tune.
I'M ON FIRE--  Dwight Twilley Band  From Oklahoma
JACKIE BLUE--  Ozark Mountain Daredevils  (Missouri's pride and joy.)

HEY YOU--  Bachman-Turner Overdrive
PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM--  Elton John
AUTOBAHN--  Kraftwerk--  Hands down one of the most quirky selections on the radio.  From Germany,

YOUNG AMERICANS--  David Bowie  Title Track from new album.
FLY BY NIGHT--  Rush
KILLER QUEEN--Queen  #1 Song in Chicago this date, June 7, 1975.  Had been around for a couple years now.

"Insatiable An Appetite."  --RoadDog
