Mayberry's Bliss: The Reason Why

Liz came across this one on her Facebook page.

The author was wondering why things were so peaceful in the small town of Mayberry, North Carolina.

"It just dawned on me why Mayberry was so peaceful and quiet...nobody was married.

"Here are the single people that come to mind:  Andy, Aunt Bea, Barney, Floyd, Howard, Goober, Gomer, Sam, Ernest T. Bass, the Darling family, Helen, Thelma Lou, Clara.

"In fact, the only one who was married was Otis and he stayed drunk!"
