Beach Music lost a great one.

Co-founder of Chairman of the Board along with General Johnson.  Had big hits in early 1970s, including "Give Me Just a Little More Time" (#3-1970) and "Pay to the Piper" (#13-1971).

Since the 1980s they have been really big in East Coast Beach Music.  Some of their big Beach hits:  "Carolina Girls,"  "Beach Fever," "I'd Rather Be in Carolina," and
"Down At the Beach Club."

He carried on with the group after the death of General Johnson.

One of my all-time favorite Pop and Beach Music groups ever.
