WLS Top 40 for February 12, 1968-- Part 5: "Green Tamborine"
20. SIMON SAYS-- 1910 Fruitgum Company #4 First hit for the New Jersey Bubble Gum quintet. I don't care what anybody says, I really liked that Bubble Gum Music. And, they even had the Shadows of Knight record some of it.
19. DOCK OF THE BAY-- Otis Redding #1 "(Sittin' On the ) Dock of the Bay" Recorded just three days before his death on December 10, 1967.
18. WE CAN FLY-- Cowsills #21 Family pop group from Newport, Rhode Island.
17. EVERYTHING THAT TOUCHES YOU-- Association #10 Formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Their last Top Ten.
16. GREEN TAMBORINE-- Lemon Pipers #1 "Green Tambourine." Psychedelic Bubble Gum quintet from Oxford, Ohio.
