Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

WLS Top 40 For July 8, 1968-- Part 3: "Classical Gas"

30.  SOMEBODY CARES--  Tommy James & the Shondells     #53   Never heard it before but a typical T.J. song.  Grows on you.

29.  CLASSICAL GAS--  Mason Williams    #2  From Abilene, Texas.

28.  MOUNTAIN OF LOVE--  Ronnie Dove     #67    I don't remember his version of this song, but a real good effort.  His 18th chart effort.

27.  BORN TO BE WILD--  Steppenwolf     #2   What can you not say about Heavy Metal?  The first You Tube song of this shows scenes from "Easy Rider."  Their first chart song.

26.  HELLO, I LOVE YOU--  Doors     #1     My favorite summer songs from 1969.  Always reminds me of going out to Honey Hill in Wauconda, Illinois, with the rest of the Burger King night crew.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "Won't You Tell  Me Your Name."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
