24. I GOT A LINE ON YOU-- Spirit #25 Takes you right back to '69. From Los Angeles. Jay Ferguson lead singer, who had hit "Thunder island" (#9- 1977) and was in Jo Jo Gunne ""Run Run Run" (#27-1972).
23. ROCK ME-- Steppenwolf #10 Nice sunglasses, John Kay. Again, this one really takes my back to Senior Lounge at Palatine High School, just like song #40 did.
22. RUN AWAY CHILD, RUNNING WILD-- #6 Temptations As usual, you've got the Motown beat and those great harmonies.
21. ONLY YOU-- Bobby Hatfield #95 "Only You (And You Alone)" The Platters would be so proud. Where was Bill medley?
