WLEE Radio Top 40 for July 27, 1964-- Part 2 "Walk, Don't Run '64"

My recommendation is to take the list and listen to the many songs you've probably never heard of before on You Tube.

30.  ALONE--  Four Seasons  Went to #28 on Billboard.  Not one of their bigger hits, but great song.  You'll probably recognize it.
29.  SUCH A NIGHT--  Elvis Presley  #16  Not one of his bigger hits, but a great song.  It was a #2 R&B hit in 1954 for Clyde McPhatter & the Drifters.
28.  HOW DO YOU DO IT--  Gerry & the Pacemakers#9 on Billboard and their second U.SS. hit.

27.  WALK, DON'T RUN '64--  Ventures
26.  ANGELITO--  Rene Y Rene    Mexican-American duo from Laredo, Texas.  Went to #43 on Billboard.  Sung in Spanish and English.
25.  PEOPLE SAY--  Dixie Cups   #12 Billboard.  Follow up to their #1 hit "Chapel of Love."
24.  AL DI DA--  Ray Charles Singers   Not to be confused with THE Ray Charles.  This group was of  a man born Charles Raymond Offenburg, an arranger and composer for many TV shows.  Went to #29 Billboard.

23.  I BELIEVE--  Bachelors   Went to #33 on Billboard  From Dublin, Ireland.  Follow up to their #1 hit "Diane."
22.  YOU'RE MY WORLD--  Cilla Black
21.  TELL ME--  Rolling Stones  First U.S. Top 40 and second U.S. release.

Name That Tune:  "You Give Me a Feeling in My Heart."  --RoadDog


MEMORY LANE:  Whatever happened to "supper?"  Now most everyone calls it dinner.
