Good Times in the Area: Leading Up to St. Patrick's Day-- Part 1: Plenty O' Civil War and Movies

MARCH 8, TUESDAY--  Drove to Woodstock, Illinois, and met a group of Civil War Round Table members at Papa G's on the historic Woodstock Square (dating to the 1840s) for dinner.  We then had the McHenry Country Civil War Round Table on Grant and Seward at the Woodstock Library.

MARCH 9,  WEDNESDAY--  Saw the movies  "Triple 9" and "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" in Fox Lake and then went to Donovan's in Twin Lakes.

MARCH 10,  THURSDAY--  Saw the movie "Gods of Egypt" in Fox Lake.  Went to Hello Folks in Fox Lake for dinner and playing o' the NTN and $3 Guinness.  Then saw the Irish duo Banna at the Fox Lake Library.  We sure did a lot o'singing and clappin'.  Went to the Route 12 Bar and Grill on the way home.
