KEITH EMERSON, 71. Died March 10, 2016.
Played with the group Nice and in 1969, joined King Crimson's Greg Lake and Carl Palmer of Atomic Rooster to form Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
From 1970 to 1992 they released ten Gold Albums. They were primarily an album-oriented group with few Top 40 singles, actually just one, "From the Beginning" (#39-1972). However, their "Lucky Man" (#48-1971) is one of my all-time favorites, featuring Keith Emerson on that amazing moog synthesizer.
Being an account of some things I'm interested in, what I'm doing, and reflections on my past, especially music.
Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.
