Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

WLS Top 40 for April 14, 1969-- Part 3: "To Know You Is To Love You"

Fifty Years Ago this week.

The number behind the artist is the highest the song got on Billboard's Hot 100 Pop Chart.

30  THE COMPOSER--  Diana Ross / Supremes     #27    Not a better-known one, but solid Motown.  Dig the flower album cover.

29.  TO KNOW YOU IS TO LOVE YOU--  Bobby Vinton       #34   Singing that old classic.  A huge hit for the Teddy Bears in 1958.

28.  MY WAY--  Frank Sinatra.    #27   Does it get more Frank than this?

27.  EARTH ANGEL--  Vogues    #42     "Earth Angel (Will You be Mine)"  Could these guys ever harmonize.   #3 for the Crewcuts in 1955.

26.  THE LETTER--  Arbors     #20     Their biggest hit.  A psychedelic, way laid-back version.  Did I hear the sound of a toke at one point.  Far Out, Man.  Formed at the University of Michigan.

Name That Tune (From the above songs):  "And Now The End Is Near, And So I face The Final Curtain."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
