RAPHAEL RAVENSCROFT, 60. Died October 15, 2014.
Played the iconic saxophone on Gerrty Rafferty's #2 song "Baker Street" in 1978. He was paid just 28 pounds for this and reportedly, the check bounced.
One of my all-time favorite songs. It was chosen Best of Show in Bob Stroud's Ten at Ten on Chicago's WDRV this past Tuesday, April 7th.
