Rememberin' the Cold at the Ball Games: Shivering at Comsikey

Well, that White Sox home opener Friday was sure mighty miserable from both a weather and a score standpoint.

The Indians walloped our guys 7-1, with just one highlight, the home run of new player Frazier (I don't know his first name yet).  And, just as bad, only three ChiSox hits (two by Frazier).

If that wasn't bad enough, the weather was its own agony.  Those people out there were tried and true Sox fans and suffered with alternating snow and might, mighty cold as well as the whipping wind.

I remember back in the 80s, and especially the 1983 season when I had a twenty-game pack to see the Sox (as we also got tickets to the All star game that year).  Those April and May games were freezing.  It was so bad, that I would spend a whole lot of the game hunkered down in the bathroom which was heated.

Too COLD for Baseball.  --ShiveringDog

THE JAPANESE ECONOMY IS SO BAD THAT:  There is something fishy going on at the Sushi Bank.
