Goodbye WXRT's Wendy Rice and Her Saturday Morning Flashback

Sad to hear this morning that Wendy Rice is doing her last WXRT, 93.1 FM Saturday Morning Flashback show from 8 to noon CDST.  It streams on www.wxrt.com.

I have listened to (and recorded on cassette tape) this show for many years.  I sure will miss her on Saturday mornings.  But the show will continue, but in a three-hour format.

She is doing a lot of interesting stuff about her time at WXRT, starting when she was an unpaid intern at the station back in 1978 and she started getting paid in 1982.

That is one thing about XRT, their deejays stay around for a long time.  none of that here today, gone tomorrow for them.
