Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

WLS Top 40 for Week of April 13, 1970-- Part 5: "Bridge Over Troubled Water"

The number behind the artist is how high the song got on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

20.  HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN--  Frigid Pink     #7   Heavy and psychedelic at the same time.  From Detroit.

19.  FOR THE LOVE OF HIM--   Bobbi Martin     #13     Love Sweet Love.  All together now.  About 180 degrees from #20.   Born in Brooklyn, raised in Baltimore.

18.  BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER--  Simon & Garfunkel     #1   Now, if there is a song that brings back NIU back then, this is it.  That crazy Garfunkel do, but the voice of an angel.

17.  WOODSTOCK--  Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young      #11    Great guitar intro.  helps to have a talented girlfriend, right Graham.  And as you know, they were there and "scared sh******."

16.  TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME--  Tyrone Davis     #3   Yep, reminds me of NIU's Tune Room at the University Center.   I sure wouldn't mind going back a year or two these days.  I'd do that even with all the attacks on Confederate monuments.  His biggest hit.

Name That Tune (from the above songs):  "Well I Came Upon A Child Of God, He Was Walking Along The Road."  Answer below.  --RoadDog
