No Super Bowl for Us-- Part 1

We cheered and hollered as loud and hard as we could, but to no avail. Da Bears got beat by Dem Packers yesterday 21-14. We had to console ourselves with lots of booze, shots and pizza at Fire Wood in McHenry, Illinois, the hq for our Usual Suspects nowadays.

Pitchers were $5 and the pizza was FREE!!

The place was packed with no Packer fans in view (but I think they were being secretive about it). We were already to raise a ruckus, but the Bears did nothing much we could cheer for.

Our defense stunk up the place on the Packers first series and let them march right down for a TD, but stiffened up after that, allowing just one more TD. It was our offense that was offensive.

Cutler was completely ineffective. I know many today are questioning his toughness because he left after just three plays in the third. But I was happy to see him out of the lineup. he was worthless. Even worse, he got his little "beat dog" look. When he gets that, it's all over. And he HAD IT.

I was hoping for at least a good game, but nothing about the first three quarters was "good" unless you were a Green Bay fan. Then the Bears put Collins in. He made Cutler look good; he was that bad.
