Philadelphia's Sigma Sound Studio Gets Marker, Nashville Songwriters HoF Inductees

The Pennsylvania Historical and museum Commission on March 5, 2015, approved 22 historical markers, including one on the site of the now defunct Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia where tunes like "When Will I See You Again," "Disco Inferno" and "Macho Man" were recorded.


The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame announced their 2015 inductees.  They include Roseanne Cash, Mack Jones, who wrote "Hooked on a Feeling" and "Eyes of a New York Woman" for B.J. Thomas and "Suspicious Minds" for Elvis.  Also inducted was Even Stevens who co-authored many Eddie Rabbitt hits including "Suspicions" and "I Love a Rainy Night."
