While posting on the blogs, I have been listening to 94.9 the Surf, broadcasting from Myrtle Beach, SC. They play my FAVORITE music, and that would be Beach Music.
Right now, at 4:21 PM Central, Billy Smith, my favorite Beach Music deejay, is having a live show from the Marina Raw Bar in North Myrtle Beach. It just started at 4. He refers to himself as Uncle Billy or the Old BSer, a very appropriate name.
He also has a Morning Radio Show Monday to Friday from 6 to 10 Eastern. He is a real experience and has been in Myrtle Beach on various stations since the 60s. The title of George Strait's recent hit, "It Just Comes Natural" could easily apply to him.
