Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

The Drive's A to Z-- Part 5-- Letter "L"

How many songs beginning with "Lay" and "Long" can you name?

Listening to the Drive right now and they are in the letter "L." Bob Stroud is playing Boz Scaggs' "Lowdown" right now.

He just played "Low" by Cracker, "Low Rider" by War and "Low Sparks of High heeled Boys" by Traffic before that.

Before that, Steve Downs and Stroud played 24 songs beginning with the word "Love" from 8:07 am to 10:10 am.

As they say, "A music event unpredictably yours."

LAY DOWN (CANDLES IN THE RAIN)-- Melanie
LAY DOWN SALLY-- Eric Clapton
LAY IT ON THE LINE-- Triumph
LAY LADY LAY-- Bob Dylan
LAYLA-- Eric Clapton

THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD-- Beatles
LONG COOL WOMAN-- Hollies
LONG DISTANCE RUNAROUND/THE FISH-- Yes
LONG LIVE ROCK-- Who
LONG LONG WAY FROM HOME-- Foreigner
THE LONG RUN-- Eagles
LONG TIME-- Boston
LONG TIME GONE-- CSN
LONG TRAIN RUNNIN'-- Doobie Brothers
LONG TWIN SILVER LINE-- Bob Seger

Bob just played one of my all-time favorites "Lucky Man" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
