Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

A Proper Way to Commemorate 10-10-10

Listened to Bob Stroud's Rock and Roll Roots on the Drive from 7 to 10 am, and, of course, it was called "Ten Songs' with 13 songs directly dealing with the number ten.

After his show ended, the Drive went to a "Ten at Ten" Marathon. Monday to Friday, Bob Stroud has a Ten at Ten show at 10 am (rebroadcast at 10 pm) where he plays "Ten great songs from one great year." That is, of course, unless he spotlights a topic such as songs with cowbells, one-hit-wonders and the like.

The Drive played nothing but Ten at Tens until 10 pm. Of course, we also had the Chicago Marathon today as well.

I finished staining the deck.

Then we went to Paul's house where we had a Bears party out in his garage and the Bears won! That was especially great after the train wreck last Sunday night against the Giants.

Came home, enjoyed the setting sun on the deck, recorded some Ten at Ten, wrote in the journal and later had a bonfire out on the Grand Strand.

Even better, after that severely cold weekend we had last week, temperatures all weekend and today were near 80 degrees, summer's last gasp.

A Proper and Fitting Salute to Tens Across the Board. --RoadDog
