Listen to this man. Seven years of college, you know. Trying to reason with 2020 and, now, 2022.

Almost a Full Football Weekend

Friday, I was stormed out, Saturday we attended a college game and Sunday watched   Da Bears lose.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5:  I had to cut the grass in a hurry when it got threatening out and storms were predicted.  they didn't come for a couple hours then we had a big rain and more storms forecast.  I went to see "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which was surprisingly good.  Another storm hit while I was inside and it drizzled all the way home.

Decided not to go to the Richmond-Burton football game and went to the Legion.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6:  We went to the Northwestern-Northern Illinois football game in Evanston.  Happy to report the stadium was almost half red with Huskie fans.  Close game, but NIU won 23-15, our first-ever win over the Wildcats and we are now 1-7-1 against them.

Stopped at White Castle in Palatine on the way home and were too tired to go to the Saufen und Spiel festival in Johnsburg, so just stopped at Antonio's and Tommy's.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7:  Got together with the "Usual Suspects" and watched Da Bear game against the Bills on big screens set up out in the beer garden building at the Squaw Bar.  Stopped at Antonio's and Tommy's on the way home.

Well, 1-1 for Weekend.  --RoadDog.

SAY WHAT?  "Better dead than red"  Then the Berlin Wall fell.  No more Soviet Union.
