DAVE DIAMOND, 77 (1936-May 5, 2014)
Born Sidney Ivan Davison, Jr.. DJ whose late 60s, early 70s programs popularized many psychedelic and rock bands. Served Korean War.
His "Diamond Mine" show became one of the first "underground" rock shows in San Francisco in 1968. One of the first deejays to play the Doors, Seeds, Love, Linda Ronstadt and Iron Butterfly. Music publisher of Strawberry Alarm Clock's "Incense and Peppermints."
