Sad to see that yesterday, Chicago White Sox player Paul Kornerko played his final game. He is my second favorite Sox player of all time and played for us 14 years. He had impressive stats in all categories and was a player's player, always thinking of the team first, willing to do whatever it takes.
He played on this year even with a much diminished role, but with no complaint and definitely was embarrassed by all the hoopla in his final year.
In case you're wondering, my favorite all-time Sox player is Harold Baines, a player who reminded me a lot of Paul Konerko.
