1. MICK'S A GREAT-GRANDFATHER-- Has it finally come to this? Rolling Stone front guy Mick Jagger became a great-grandfather when his granddaughter Assisi gave birth to a daughter. Egads!!
2. "HANG ON SLOOPY"-- A bill to make "Hang On Sloopy" the official Ohio State Rock Song passed the state's House of Representatives on May 7th without opposition. The Ohio State Marching Band even played it for the legislators (it is already played during OSU football games).
It now goes to the Senate.
A resolution honoring the song was passed in 1985, but never officially placed into law.
