Ted Templeman

Musician, producer.  Born Oct. 24, 1944.  In 1967 he was a member of Harper's Bizarre, a group who had a big hit with Simon and Garfunkel's "59th Street Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)."

He has had much success a s a recording engineer and producer, producing most of the Doobie Brothers early albums, including Toulouse Street.  Also Montrose, many of the Van Halen albums, David Lee Roth, Carly Simon, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, Michael McDonald, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Little Feat's Sailing Shoes.  He also produced Van Morrison's Tupelo Honey and St. Dominick's Preview.
